The Exo Terra 300 watt pulse proportional thermostat worked well with the ceramic heat emitters and the Exo Terra 16 watt heat mat that I plugged into it. However, it would not hold temperature with a deep heat projector. Mode switch set to dim. Further research shed light on other instances related specifically to the 300 watt pulse proportional version only, failing to hold temperature with deep heat projectors.
